Solution Architecture Diagram Overview

The diagram below presents the proposed Phase 1 target-state architecture for VNA Meals on Wheels 2.0. It focuses on the Azure-hosted core platform, the retained user-access channels and enterprise integrations that remain relevant in Phase 1, and the new solution components that replace the current legacy stack.

This target-state view is intentionally aligned to the architecture described in 5. Technical Architecture.md: a central .NET 10 web API and shared application core, a React web application, Azure Functions for background processing and integrations, a SQL Server operational data platform, supporting document/file storage, and a Power BI reporting layer. The diagram also distinguishes Azure-hosted components from retained external systems and uses a dotted boundary to identify the new and modernized Phase 1 MOW 2.0 solution group.
